We believe that once you stay with us you will want to return again and again to taste of our hospitality
and enjoy the nature of McCreary County.
This location with the last remaining firetower in the area was
once home to the first public park in McCreary County. It is situated in the center of the southern portion of the Daniel
Boone National Forest and has graveled trails for walking with many scenic vistas along the way.
You can also visit our craft and gift shop next door to the Big South Fork Scenic Railway. Tower Crafts was
voted one of the best shops in the area for the last three years. We have many hand made crafts produced locally
by Kentucky artisans from native materials.
This photo of our house was
taken from the top of the fire tower and if you look close in the lower left corner, you can see the cabin through the trees.
The photo was taken in early Spring before the leaves fully emerged.
